OcUK Minecraft Server - Rules & Chat

Don't the server keep logs. If it does then should be able to detect/narrow down the problem. (That's if it is a software problem looking likely). Narrowing down could be tricky as one plugin may not be the cause as it could be conflicting. Worst case could be corrupt map.

If the server is splitting resources between minecraft and another game it's quite possible that the other game could be at fault too, you never know. Regardless it's clearly Ryan Giggs who's at fault.
 
It is all very weird. The insta-vanishing blocks bug starting before the 1.6 update etc.

Then on 1.6 updating, the server seemed ok for at least a day (maybe 2?) then it started to get more unstable. Then lb vanishing yesterday (I think that might be as FT updated lb, so maybe the config reset).

I find the performance of the server (when its running) to be really good though. Items/blocks/porting all seem really good to me.
 
I've restarted now. Sorry for the delay again.

I'm really not sure what is causing it. The logs aren't really showing anything useful (no errors really) and given that we've actually got quite a minimal amount of plugins running at the moment, I'm at a bit of a loss :/

Resources-wise, the server has lots spare so I'm pretty sure that's not the issue. We're also not really running any new games/etc.
 
Cheers FT. There's deffo something up with 1.6 in general. Given the vast amount of bug's Notch fixed, he's prolly introduced new ones too.

I've repackaged Misa's Texture Pack with the old spacey font. According to Misa, the latest font, which is quite an eyesore will be a permanent feature :/ The package link is below.

Edit: These are the lag spikes I'm getting since 1.6.x. It isn't texpack related, at all. Looks like I'm not alone.

lb works for the area if i type lb area 1 (looks like 3 people did it) - but i dont have any access to the wooden pick, and if i do lb tool it says im not allowed to do this.
 
For now get Tefal in there.

I had to revert some config changes that were supposed to enable tool access by non-admins but once I get a bit more time later today I'll sort it out so all players will be able to lookup block history properly.

Pistons mod works, just have to reset the piston directions :)
 
Mining into a wall while watching the tv can end in disaster....

1 bit of good luck, 1 big of bad luck....
Lost 64 gold ingots trying to craft them into blocks. The crafting window stuck, clicked out of it, got the insta-removing blocks on right click bug, no gold ingots on the floor or in invetory, relogged, nothing on the floor :(
