EDIT: I did announce it in the server though chat... you can delete the pistons and levers...

Right so I didn't monitor the thread, but I did owe up on the servers and am willing to let all of the iron in my chests & pistons go.

What I find funny is that I believe I did not do anything massively serious and get a permaban and others (not naming who) can get away with tnt'ing their friends mine as a 'joke' which IMO is more serious offence.

I've been out - hence lack of reply.

You were permabanned as this isn't your first offence. I'll discuss the action with the other admins (it was I who initiated the ban though) and let you know if we change our minds.
 
On the subject of duping, you can't say its not serious as 2 maps ago the server was filled with duped blocks, it made mining almost pointless. When the game was patched we generated a new map on the server to start clean, playing as intended. This is the way most of us like to play the game, and if the admins also want to keep it this way then that means they have to do extra work to stop people who dupe and clean up after them, so anything that stops duping before people get the chance to do it, or punish those who already did, is alright in my opinion.

That said I do think a permaban is a little harsh, by the sounds of it its not like you tried to conceal the fact that you found a way to dupe (which would have been worthy of a permaban), but I'm not a mod so my opinion on this doesn't realy change anything.
 
If anyone is interested in trying a different 256x256 HD texture pack mine is below, it's based on Nutty's pack, but is a cross between his and a couple of others. I've added in an indicator to show progress whilst mining, mostly because I was so frustrated whilst mining obsidian.

It's on the linktart forums too, which is where I'll post any updates.

I misclicked and set off some tnt in tefals room / hall / space / hole thing. Water came in. I tried to patch it up but failed so when I'm next on I'll come over and fix it.
