I'm going to have a play on my custom server to see how things go and report my findings to the team. Then if us as the admin team think its right for the server we will then ask the players for their opinions showing both the downsides and upsides of mods.

I hate to be a nay sayer for updating and spend the weekend living 'in the past', but, Notch says 1.7.2 coming tomorrow... If that makes any difference..

What's your MC username? Me and my buddies do a lot of mining and we don't use gold, rarely use iron and got loads of coal. I'll give you anything I can spare if you want.

EDIT: Also got a **** load of mushrooms from the nether as well.

I hope 1.7 fixes the item bug whereby you die and drop your items, but can't find them again later

So far so good on the unoffical server if your thinking of upgrading, just don't place redstone on a piston

One annoying thing so far is leaves disappearing if you don't place them next to wood. Would've made good hedges.

You can get around this (kinda) by digging big trenches underneath with trees and shaving the tops off into hedges

I went to bena's home, and it seems that at the exact same time he was on there are 2 creeper holes at the base of his zombie (with bits missing).

1.7.2 out, hopefully that will fix the bugs and bukkit will release a recommended build later today

ok, bena left his pc on at home and max was there, luckily he only typed that, as bena was left logged on the creepers exploded. Although can i ask for bena to put back on the whitelist at 15:30 thats when he gets home. so he can then repair the damage and sort things out? I know all this becouse im talking to max on skype.
