It's just a preliminary test of FrenchTs server tomsee how it copes with the mine craft hosting. If we do switch it should be possible to transfer the world.

Is it just me can't connect to minecraft.net login with 1.1 but seems fine on 1.2?

Bah, even 1.2 I can't connect to linktart or server 2, getting the same errors as you tangoman

The server is running 1.2_1 and you should be able to connect by just typing "linktart.co.uk" in the multiplayer bit.

I'm just testing myself but I think this is caused by the Minecraft site being slow. I'll update once I'm done testing but I suspect it's just a case of retrying repeatedly :/

yeah minecraft it's self is the problem atm.

mgiht be best to do this another day when they have thier servers working

You're probably right there.

I'll leave this running now, just in case things are working properly at 8pm. It's likely that I'll have to set up another load test though.

The server is 1.2 and I've got a dev build of Bukkit running on there.

It's actually been running fine for a few days but I've had a whitelist running during that period. Assuming this load test goes well and it doesn't impact the other things running on the server, I've offered to move the OcUK server to the dedi, giving Windle the full admin access he has currently on Multiplay. This would be free of charge as me and Link already pay for our dedi hosting.

CPU usage is very low right now - far lower than the L4D/KF servers. Keeping an eye on it though as I'm sure it'll go up with more players.

Anyone on, can you see people connect then disconnect straight away? xD still getting those silly errors - but mc.net is very slow atm. might just be down to something they're doing.
