damn if only i could get on.

I need a place to test the mass tnt cavern making system i'm going to be using without risk/taking a month to make the tnt :p

Don't delete the version file. If you leave the updated version file in place the game thinks its up to date even if all of the game files are for a previous version.

Can anyone recommend a mod pack? XD

Also any quick way of getting to the mob spawner?

Theres an option in the server files to disable checking with the official minecraft servers.

Of course it means people who haven't bought the game can join but theres a whitelist anyway...
 
My dedicated server is being pants as it needs work done to it, that I don't have the time to deal with :D

Down to using my laptop as my server at the moment. Minecraft server still not working at the moment. Will have to try later on.

Anyone else still got issues?
 
Just wanted to say I got a server up if anyone wants to join

just be social, speak english - its a UK hosted server on a 50mb line.
dont destroy others stuff - multiplayer survival

Should be, but you'll have to make sure you have the latest version of Minecraft then downgrade to an older version

The new beta version of Minecraft has just been released which obviously causes some issues with multiplay’s servers so here is how to downgrade your client so you can continue playing on the server until a Hey0/Bukkit update is released:

1. Download the “older” version from Fileplay
2. Make sure your client is updated to 1.2 then quit your client
3. Extract this to:

Windows: %appdata%/.minecraft/

Mac: User/Library/Application Support/minecraft

4. Re-open your client and you can now connect to your Multiplay server!

I can update the server to latest revision and still maintain a whitelist, you'd lose tp etc until Bukkit arrives though!
