Hmm... registered for the game and paid my monies - but signed up with my real name, didn't realise that would also be my ingame name. Can this not be changed? Some kind of warning would have been nice.

A: First, check if you paid by E-Check. Those can take up to a week and a half to clear (usually five days). If it's been longer than that, or you didn't pay by E-Check, send me an email at [email protected]. Make sure to include the transaction id from the receipt you got from paypal, and what username you bought the game for.

I kinda mucked about with what used to be the coal shop trying to make it into a miner's guild.

It doesnt look that great atm though :S

I thought each wall could be something mining related, so far its a pick axe and a torch...then i ran out of ideas, feel free to change as you wish, otherwise i will finish over the next couple of days.
 
Really good job tonight, everyone seems to have put in a lot of effort. We still have a plot free in the middle, and a few ideas have been brought up but nothing solid.

Weapon storage was one of them, community chest was another. I don't mind really. As long as it fits in with the general theme and has some sort of purpose, then that's good.

Big thanks to naudiz and Goberpiles for sorting out the cacti farm on one side of the bank, they did a great job. We have another plot of land free on the other side of the bank. A reed farm is possible, although willhub has one nearby. I think it would be nice to have a reedfarm/garden sort of thing, maybe another water feature. There isn't an awful lot of space to work with, but something can be done. It's just a matter of going ahead and doing it, you don't need permission. If it's crap, well, we'll remove it.

Speaking of removal, RIP coal shop :( Forever in our thoughts.

What else..lets see. Erm, I'm hoping jmiller will finish off the flower bits so far. We found out who it was, and it was just a misunderstanding. He's done a good job so far, so would be nice to see the rest of it finished. Someone has also experimented with trees on one or two patches, but we've had a few mobs spawning on them, so I don't think they are the best idea.

The town hall/mayors office looks great, and Mrs. Radyr seems comfortable...

We need flowers to put down on the grass along the paths to the centre bit with the fountain. If you have some, stick them down.

The community centre that rizo built is a bit basic at the moment, but I'm hoping we can get a bulletin board or something going in there and maybe decorate it a bit more.

Maxi did a good job with the vault entrance and the two rizos and a few others helped me get started on the main part of the bank. It looks pretty good now! I started working on the library/gallery part, and I have a few ideas of my own for there so I'd appreciate if people left it alone for now.

Trinsanity also has a few ideas for the auction house so I'm going to leave him to do that.

Mining guild/Crafting guild, again I'm not really sure about that so people can just take it into their own hands as Hipster has mentioned.

Oh, and many thanks to all the people who were constantly supplying materials, getting stuff going in furnaces etc - it was really helpful! I know I've forgot to mention some people, but it was still a great community effort. Good job all :)

Edit: I'm still amazed by the trainstation, looks flipping brilliant from above/distance!

hey....

so i made the noob/spawn building. a replica of the one adjacent only with lava instead of water. in one window it will not allow me to place the lava at all, i'm thinking cuboid/protection there? i dunno. i left a sign for radyr.


just one thing though, the lag appears to be creeping back, as does the sound of zombies. we'll need to look at this before it gets out of hand again.

just a thought...

Yeee, I realise though, that the cart systems wouldnt be loaded far away and so, having a fully automated system that u just hop on, will only work for short distances. Another thing I forgot, was infact that the railway planned is only going to be outward from spawn. However, the boosters used can realistically be implemented and they will just load up as you travel.


All that would need to be added in then, is the initial launch system and possible destination selection. (Using red ore?)

I can wire up a circuit that, based on user input (hitting a button) it will switch the track to the right one. There would be a button to press for every direction (and possible torch lighting up to show what way the track switches?), and also a button to reset (this is important, because the circuit would have a default state in a particular direction).
This would mean that only one launch system is needed for all directions.

If anyone else can do this, and in a better fashion, then be my guest, just throwing it out there. It also depends on what kind of launch system is envisioned.

one thing with this, when input died he re spawned trapped inside the glass wall that you're going to fill with lava...
