server timing out for me :(


Was clearing land with the odd little creeper popping in from the cliffs to help with their friendly little explosions
 
Nabbed some coal from the public mine. I assume this is ok?

I want to build an Alpine style chalet so need lots of wood but there are not many trees to chop?

Liking the game more and more even only played for a little while last night and this morning. Cheers to the people who helped me and sorry for being a noob on the train lol.

Oh, and if someones secret underground stash looks like it has been dug into. Sorry it was me. I won't tell. ;) I covered up my hole as well.
 
I understand you need iron to make a cart to get to the new area, but when starting out for the first time where would I get the iron from? Don't want to take any that I'm not supposed to.

Some kind soul gave me a cart. In fact I have two so you can have one if you want. :)
 
If you ask if anyone is at the new area and they say yes, you can 'teleport' to them.

type: /tp person

that will take you to the new town, without having to find a cart :)
 
If you accidentally blow apart people's creations - please at least rebuild the parts you've wrecked.

Not much damage done, but damn annoying to come back and find creeper craters all over something you've built.

True, but it's also the builder's responsibility to light the area around their creation well. Hence the reason I placed loads of torches about 40 blocks in each direction around mine and Takeo's place. In some cases further. At some point I should build a fortified wall too, but with my main PC out of action, that won't be happening for a while yet.

If someone removes those torches, however, then that's another matter.
 
It always amazes me that people don't repair damage they caused. I don't understand how they see they've just ruined someones work and just carry on walking. Unless of course people lure creepers to buildings with the intention of griefing.

It was very well lit - the damage removed about 10 torches :(
