it was originally a sand mine but its just about mined dry, lol. it was in the process of being prepared for building on but a difference of opinion on what the land should be used for meant it was pretty much abandoned. not sure if anybody has reserved it since.

The area next to spawn has been cleared up and now hosts the Minecart to nowhere! Which is going to be a track to the edge of the known map so that when the server is updated to the latest patch people can get to new areas quicker for the new ores etc
