The Nort West massive are heading through there on the way mate.

I was going to suggest meeting at the petrol station just off junction 19 of the M6, nip through knutsford onto the A537 to Mac.

Lymm is also good, down the A50 to pick up the A537.

I've plotted an initial route, will try and give it a dry run and tweak it a little before March.

We'd need to be at the services for 8AM then, latest... bloody hell that's an early start lol.

Coming from southport, will take us around an hour to get to the services so we will be setting off around 7am, if not a bit earlier for traffic etc.

Didn't realise we'd be meeting so late , almost time for second breakfast....

I've revised the route slightly, as some of the roads I'd picked were single track B roads, dusty and a bit cow pooey . Should be bloody good fun though.

We're looking at Approx 115miles each way from Reading (obviously depends which way we take, but that is the quickest route according to Google...) and then the run whilst we are in Hinkley on top of that.

I would guess you will be looking at approx 300 miles for the day in your case Agnes. What's that... 5 tanks of fuel?

I will go for a meet up with a few of you guys near the end of the year if you are up for it as I currently own a 50cc but in the process of doing my theory then onwards to do my restricted licence!

8am is fine. I'm used to being out on the road by 6am, all those country lanes to yourself at that time of the morning.

Hopefully a fast ride, but no faster than everyone is comfortable with. No one will get left behind, should be a good laugh .

OK looking back through the thread are the Reading people still happy to be meeting at 08:30?

@agnes & Dureth: Are you 2 still happy to be leading the way? if so, any idea the route we're going to be taking? Google thinks just over 2hrs for Reading -> Hinckley, but that is M40 all the way..

Weather is still looking very good with sunshine and 15/17 degree's.

If you go with the initial route I can probably catch up in Ashbourne if I know what time you'll be passing through.

If you go with the alternative you'll be passing through Belper where I live anyway so I can catch up there, if I know what time you'll be passing through

I doubt I'll be able to get my bike back from the dealers before 9:30am - 10:00am though so it may be a lost cause on this occasion.

Failing that hopefully there'll be another meet later in the year

I would imagine there would be a couple of stops, certainly one at the cat and fiddle itself so we should be passing near you around 9:30-10 I would imagine.

Probably use the inital route with a few tweaks.

Tell us what time you can be in Ashbourne and we can wait for you there.

She won't be the only woman there.

Just a few days to go now & if the weather is anything like it has been the last few days it'll be Awesome.
