OcUK Photo Comp - Season Five : Round Five - "Emotion" DISCUSSION

Maybe people are trying to provoke emotions by putting "placeholder" , there could be OcUK photographers watching you right now :eek:

lol, yeh, it's not meant to look real :) Goes with my theme ;)

But I'm defo changing the image anyway. By posting that pic means I have to go and take a decent pic and change or else I'll come last!
 
I've changed mine again. I didn't like the first idea, or at least the way I executed it. That's a picture of a Taranula (albeit a docile one) in a threat posture. I have a few spiders, of which this is unfortunately the least photogenic. But if I take any of the others outside, they'll scuttle off lightning fast after biting my face off. :D

I have some other ideas involving the spider, some of which may not be too easy to do!

I liked your previous shot, and I'm sure it would score higher than the spider shot, as you said it could have been executed better but the premise was good, the spider shot in it's own right is very good tho, only my opinion mind :)

I think you're probably right, but this afternoon I had an idea. I won't go into much, but it will most likely involve a quad of pictures. I won't say anymore yet though! If all else fails, back to the original idea... :)
 
My entry from today is up! Was taking some pictures near my office and discovered a dance show going on!

May change the shot if I get anything better whilst on holiday
