He might be posting on a portable device of some sort maybe? Just a guess!

Ah yes that could be it. I seem to recall my Axim does a similar thing. You can still copy / paste though :)

Hey!

Just uploaded mine into the thread!

Still am 50/50 with another one I have got, but I think the one I have put up is ok!

Something occured to me. People are showing people's expressions which is the result of an emotion. I suppose if someone was really really picky they could say "Well its a great expression" or they might just say "They look happy" happy being the emotion. *ponders*

You've fallen into the trap :) , should the photo show emotion or is it meant to provoke emotion  ????

Wow another really good photo not sure it really conveys the emotion you are

looking for though. The photo seems to have a very peaceful feel to it even

though its a place of death and war

Thanks, wasn't too sure about the emotion that the picture should go under - the place conveys lots of different emotions depending on how you view history.

Now I've not pinned any particular emotion to the shot as the viewer should make up their own mind.

The way I always look at these competitions is like in a gallery. If there was simply the theme as a title and people were to walk around looking at our pics. Would they go "Ah yes, emotion." Now if you can get a picture that makes people think of the theme without saying anything with words, job done. I have one pic that could say "Expression" as the people have funny expressions on their faces. I have another which clearly says "love". I'm not entirely sure how to say "emotion" without resorting to the yellow pages again ;)

I think it is good to see how people interpret the theme :-)

I mean it would be one thing if your editor said "This is the headline, get me the shot" and quite another to put an exhibition together of the theme.

I've just thought, curiosity isn't even an emotion  I need to stop drinking so much at weekends :p

Well I've put one up, first time poster and all that :) Thing is now I have I don't think everyone will "get it"... :(

Girl on the right (looking at the photo)-(left if looking from their pov).

Damn she is fine :)

I think the one on the far left is the best, then again second thought.....2nd from the right is nicer, I like brunette...wait, 2nd from the left is also stonking, just look at those norks...I mean smile...........wait.....no, i like brunettes as well, far right is suunning too....

Thanks CyKey I didnt know you could copy and past quotes into one thread. I

been putting the extra space in between lines of text as I havent got a

signature or avatar yet and I feel my comments or bits of advice could be

easly overlooked or miissed by a quick scroll a little to far. If anyone doesnt

like this let me know and ill stop doing it.

Can I just ask why people are putting 'awe, happy, sad, tired' as image titles? Surely the image istself should say what the emotion is? Without having to put a title? It kind of defeats the point if you need to explain the emotion.

Just thought I would mention it.

King.

(Unless you have to title it as per rules, first one I have entered so I could be wrong.)
