Up to 157.5kg now on deadlift. I have a video but I'll have to wait for my mate to upload it from his phone.

Pretty pleased with it. Felt quite shaky on the way up but my form didn't look as bad as I thought it would do after watching the vid! managed to hold onto it for some time too at the top (although it was mixed grip so significantly easier than OH)

Shakey is fine - if the bar made it up and you didn't injure yourself then that's all you can ask! ;)
 
I feel so depressed after reading this thread. Some serious weight being thrown about. Now with the football season out the way i no longer have to hold back on the training, especially legs.

I don't see why you're depressed, everyone is different. Also you won't know where your current limits are until you force your body to them.

So have a great meal, some green tea and go see what you're made of. Everyone can improve that's the beauty of the human body, just get started. :)
 
Indeed. It's taken me several years to get where I am, and I'm sure the same can be said for others - you develop, and it takes time and effort. :) Don't see why the football season would impair your ability to train legs though!

Progress is progress, even if you only add 10kg to every lift in a year you're still improving. :)

:) i'm not all that depressed really it's more of a case of looking at FF's and the likes lifts and thinking how the hell does he get that bar off the ground, i half expect to come back the next day to see small car written there instead. To be fair i don't do too bad but i don't push myself on squats and deadlifts as much as i should.

I don't feel confident enough with my form on my deadlifts to try to go heavier than my previous best (like 4 months ago) of 120 kilo, i generally sit at 100 and churn out 3x8 of them. Pretty much the same with squats but that's due to my legs not being able to recover in time for football. Did have a go the other day and managed 140 kilo (5 reps on smith machine). I can now push my legs with the football season over.

I did however manage a 1rm of 100kg on flat bench a week ago which i was very happy with. God it felt heavy but after a bit shouting and grunting later it went up albeit rather shakily (oooo errr).

Anyways fair play to all the guys making gains, keep it up.

Cheers, I also did 2 rep with DBs of 35kg/hand so upped my previous max to 70kg from 60, which I forgot to mention. I think really I was already at this level, just hadn't tested it.


BW: 84kg

Bench 70kg (2 reps) (done with dumbells)
Squat 130kg (2reps)
Deadlift 157.5kg mixed grip (1rm)

Total: 357.5kg

All no straps or belt or chalk.

Excuse the quality, the phone is my friend's and it's got terrible quality..

20 kg bar with these plates on each side: 25kg, 15kg, 15kg, 10kg, (2.5kg,1.25kg small ones you can't make out because of the quality)

Excuse the music, ghostbusters came on the cd as I started :/ It had been star wars before which was pretty funny exercising too ;)

Could you update mine please Freefaller. Managed A 140kg bench press today. Also did a 160kg squat the other week :)

Now sitting at a porky 94kg.
 
My lifting totals are coming on strongly but still very weak.

Benchpress- 80kg
Squat- 100kg (smith)
Deadlift - 110kg (Mixed grip)
Body weight (this morning post dump pre food) - 210lbs, which is pretty heavy for my age, 17, and my height, 6ft.

All lifts are raw no straps etc
 
We can add it as a separate league table within this thread - no issues there. I dont' think it's fair adding it as part of the "big 3" - certainly, as an additional would be good though.

BW - 98K at moment!

Good deading by the way! I got a 230 up, considering 2 months ago i couldnt do 140 due to the pain in my back i think im back on track at last!
 
Currently I'm doing for reps. Not sure what my Max is for each.

130kg Bench
160kg Deadlift
110 kg squat

Damn weak legs :P

I weigh 76kg, 5ft 11.
