Excellent 180kg deadlift. The 60kg bench really worrys me.
You need to start putting some priority on your bench, I'm guessing your shoulders aren't as strong also?

You could be building a huge imbalance in strength.

What kind of shoulder press and bench weights would you expect from 100kg 5x5 squat (one set 120) and a 150kg 1rm dl?

I do a mix of 25 and 30kg DBs for bench, and 22.5 dbs for shoulder press. Shrug wise I am on BB 70-90kg

It's all relative to your height & weight as that will determine whether or not those lifts are good/bad in comparison.

I'd be thinking around 80-90KG Bench and about 60KG + for a standing BB OHP. That's just me though. Trying to remember what my lifts were all like around those sorts of numbers. They're in the old powerlifting thread but I cba to dig them out :p

Quick thought, if its with dumbells it could be likely the overal weight is lower because of this? Theyre usually harder after all. Maybe with a barbell it could be higher.

Unless you have an injury, that's wrong, and the wrong attitude to have. :)

Yes I agree, however i've seen it happen with my gym partner and he has very very good determination and will power, although it is more of a motivator to improve, so its not a bad thing if you know how to look at it. It may be harder but it doesnt mean you cant improve, it just takes more time.

Yep, shoulders are weak too. Can only manage 45kg overhead press. Any more and I have to push press. Up to week 8 on the 5x5 program at the moment. All exercises are going fine but struggling with the overhead press. Need to better my form too as I tend to develop pain in lower back and wrists.

Time, and pushing plateaus, some of the hardest things to do, but entirely feasible. :)

One thing to note I just thought of is that the deadlift for me was very much a 1rm whereas the bench is both with dumbells and for 5 reps. I've just never gone higher. I'll agree its definitely a weak.point of mine though so I will start to focus a bit more on it.

Short of an injury having 'weak points' is bobbins.

The epiphany for any serious lifter/bodybuilder is that if you want a big chest/arms.. you train your legs.

Why? Because your body wants you to keep in balance and will fight any efforts to the contrary.

Its easy to see this in the little bicep boys with there 'huge' 15 inch guns that look like a a pea has got stuck halfway up a straw, thinking that 8 variations of bicep curls and never training legs is what will get them Arnie size arms.

9/10 a 'weak point' is just an area that people find hard to train so prefer to make excuses for it... legs being the prime candidate.

Did a very ugly 235kg deadlift today - shame I didn't get it on video, but it came up, it wasn't pretty. First time I've done heavy deads since starting AGVT though so quite happy about that!

Do I get to grant myself the extra 5kg? :D SPW was a witness to it - but he may be biased maybe :p

Batf1nk -------- 80kg+ / 110kg+ / 130kg(s)+ -------- [77.5kg] ---- 320kg

Booyah! Straight in at the bottom.

Recon i've got another 5-10kg in me for 1 rep on bench and dead.

Bench press 80kg, squat 120kg, deadlift 160kg, body weight 85kg.

Last years lifts, I'm doing 5-3-1 training at the moment which is only 4 weeks in so I might test them during deload week and put up some videos. Body weight is coming down nice and slow from 89kg.
