It's not bad yes

Ported manifold (£100), stainless up pipe (£100) custom length 3" downpipe (£195 at the time) with Blitz Nur Spec R system (with the 2.5" taper cut off to be a complete 3" system.) (£450 - was previously on my black WRX when I first bought it, so I just paid £25 to get it cut to match the downpipe)
Roger Clarke induction kit (lots new, £80 second hand which is what I did) with samco elbow (£40 second hand), with self made heatshield and air intakes (£10)
Open source ECU remap (£350)
Also a HKS SSQV which doesn't add power.. but £245.

What power did it have as standard, or before you did that lot?

Out of the box they are 265ps in the UK. I bought it as a PPP car which had 305ps, then with all my exhaust system it made 330bhp at PS. Then air filter + map it makes what it makes now.

With 330bhp (PS) it ran 12.9 @ 103mph at Santa Pod.
With 373bhp and actually more weight than previous it ran 12.2 @ 109mph and 12.3 @ 111mph. I think it could see 11s.

I'd love an Impreza but I'd be scared to death of buying one because I'd imagen most of them have seen a very hard life.
