OcUK Rolling Road 9: Photos + Graphs

Oh my God :D

Thanks all for an amazing day, you're all too awesome and I was the only person to have a failure

129.6bhp... well chuffed! And 193 ft lbs torque too! Thanks especially to:

nokinidea - for the RR!
agw - for having an awesome car
Fox - for actually being reasonable in real life :p
Phate - for not killing us with his ZS
TaKeN - for making my tractor look a bit better...

And everyone else, today was actually the best day of my life

I am loving this pic:

What mods has Moeks done to his ST?

Yep, as Invader said, none, it's stock (so far as I know anyway) ...after hearing what they tend to dyno at, I was expecting about 233 or so, I was surprised it came out at over 240 though.

Some great photos there, nice job guys, far better than I could have done. I'll get onto to some of you tomorrow about high res photos anyway, right now all I can think about is going bed, when I got home I went out to the pub and now I am completley bushwacked.

Oh Invader, I would like the .pdf for my run please :) Email is in trust.

Ahhh, I didn't know if you were referring to the rear window on the 420D :p lol

A quick low-down on the main performance bits...
Apexi PowerIntake cone filter (battery moved to the boot to get the filter as far from the engine as possible)
T28 turbo from a Nissan Pulsar GTi-R (rebuilt with a 360º bearing)
Full 2.5" exhaust (2.5" downpipe, 2.5" de-cat pipe and 2.5" Mongoose exhaust)
And a large front mount intercooler.

You wouldn't believe the difference the front mount makes. After a hard run, the pipe from the turbo to the IC is rather warm, whereas the pipe from the IC to the throttle body is stone cold! Shows that it's doing its job rather nicely!

Hmm, perhaps I should have turned up, some people who weren't at the Shampton meets I'd liked to have seen.

Still needed some rest today, working tomorrow, standby on Monday.

impressive results andy, what you using for boost control?

Forge actuator and a ball and spring controller.

Would have liked to have tweaked the Forge a bit more... the boost spikes a little bit as it comes in, meaning that it tails off a little bit towards the top end.

Still, doesn't seem to have affected the power too much, heh.

The Legum WAS awesome! 4 up, 1600kg, 4WD, Auto... but it shifted very very well!

Hefty amount of torque on that thing though.
