hehe :) I know a diesel will never be quite the same as a petrol, but its pretty good fun for younger drivers imo :) coming on boost from low revs feels like your being propelled through warp speed, wheras the faster petrols ive been in or driven seem quite, relaxed?

The perfect car for you is turbo petrol.

relaxed? blimey what turbo petrol have you been in?

Wills scoob was far from relaxed, and I know mine is nothing like relaxing when the turbo kicks in.

dling vid now :D

only turbo petrol I think was daves VXT, it genuinely felt like there was no turbo

just noticed something in merlins vid.... 5:08.. you see gilly 'praying for a good result' ... look at his reaction near the end when the revs are picking up  :D

Two cars i was most impressed with was the Vette (obviously) and Simon's - damn quick. I had a right job putting distance between me and him on the M5. Stuck to my arse like glue till i got to 5750 rpm then i slooooowly edged away.

he has a fantastic video when he had a dodgy exhaust when he chased a scooby, I was very impressed !!!

I think your's sounds nicer though. Sounded ace when we were blasting about trying to get around the closed Road :D

That first time we went for it I backed off as i seen your brake light flash on. There's no way you car is only 235(?) bhp as a 260bhp Sti was no faster than yours.

si - the 235 is another story...

on that point merlin, i was gonna e-mail powerstation thanking them for the day, are you still gonna do what we spoke about on saturday?

Sweet video! Some lovely cars there!

Who's was the Astra van? That made me chuckle seeing it on the rollers :D No offence to the owner though :)

Who's was the black Rover 200 turbo? I saw it on the 1st RR video.

Also, what's that blue 2 door car with the black alloys. It kinda looked like an old R32 GTS Skyline, but I wasn't sure.

I'll email Rich tomorrow and see what he says. Basically i want my money back, he let me go on knowing the front rollers weren't reading right.

Bit naughty imo.

:)
