Got my Sapphire 7800XT pulse. Very pleased with the cooler. It's quiet and cool. The size is about the same as my previous EVGA 1070 FTW.
Yup I concur. Been giving it a good workout with Starfield and even with it at 100% most of the time it stays pretty cool and I don’t hear the fans at all. Very impressed so far!
£600 for the asus tuf and sapphire nitro 7800's
Can get a 6950 for around £570 which is still reasonably faster.Buying a gpu these days is like setting fire to your wallet, there's the price it SHOULD be at, then you have the price it IS at, for 'reasons'.

Going to be interesting to see what they're going to do with their prices with these 'refreshes'.
They'll probably put the prices of the original 4000 series cards down to what they should have been in the first place lol

So we are a month after release and pricing on 7800xt is still bad, nothing below 500 and starfield promo gone. FSR 3 isn't that great at the moment either so yeah looks like another bad move for AMD

How is everyone doing now 3 months on? I’m pretty happy with my 7800xt mba. I’ve managed to get it purring to match 6950xt almost by overclocking.
Temps are great (max 80c junction temp) even though it’s a 2x fan.
Prices look to have come down a touch (on the MBA and Pulse models) I can see on the 7800XT page:

No complaints here on my 7800XT Nitro+. Not had any issues in games or any temp problems. Just works.

I’m hitting near enough (sometimes 22K and mostly between 21500-21900)
My settings are core 2650mhz minimum 2950mhz maximum Voltage 1017mv Fans 75%. Mem 2614mhz fast timings.
Oh I have the MBA 7800XT
Edit: I notice I get the best scores on computer restart, but lower scores in subsequent runs not sure why? (@LtMatt - since you have had great experience with AMD- can you help? Thanks)

6950xt hits 22K at stock and the 4070ti hits 22500 at stock too so it ain’t bad that the 7800xt achieves almost that.why set a high core min ? and downloading it now ..
