Is your 7600x holding you back in certain games/workloads? You (probably) don't need to seek upgrades every generation. Is it worth switching from a 7600x to a 9600x or wait until Black Friday and make the move to a 7800X3D?
Brand loyalists are such an embarrassing bunch.

I doubt that’ll happen as that would leave them open to a lawsuit as the parts have been advertised and sold with a 65w TDP.According to this AMD might be looking to increase the TDP of the 9600x and 9700x to 105w via an agesa update.
Maybe they'll default to 65w but have a 105w option in the biosI doubt that’ll happen as that would leave them open to a lawsuit as the parts have been advertised and sold with a 65w TDP.
Maybe it offsets the higher latency that has been reported with these CPUs somehow? That was something observed with the earlier Ryzen CPUs.Ryzen 7 7800X3D, Ryzen 5 9600X DDR5 Memory Scaling [6200MHz CL28 vs CL34 vs 7800 CL38]
Let's test some low latency CL28 6000MHz (overclocked to 6200MHz) vs 4800MHz CL40, some other CL34 I have here and the top speed 7800MHz CL38, just how will ...youtu.be

I guessed Zen5 should like fast ram, but this much?
And that CL28 kit could definitely be tuned further
from these and other reviews it seems like sweet spot might again be ddr5 6000 CL30 modules.Might be interesting for those on the fence etc

I like the look of these babies;from these and other reviews it seems like sweet spot might again be ddr5 6000 CL30 modules.
I have said it multiple times and some couldn't believe it, even when AMD themselves also said the same - the RAM controller did not change in Zen 5 from previous version. It's the same IOD after all that is in Zen 4. I still don't understand why some people imagined it would magically be different and better, somehow, when there was not a single bit of data supporting such wishful thinking. AMD blabbered a bit about 6200MT being more stable but that's a case with Zen 4 as well on newer versions of BIOS for motherboards (as MSI claimed that for months now in case of Zen 4 too).from these and other reviews it seems like sweet spot might again be ddr5 6000 CL30 modules.
