OcUK Ryzen 9 3950X review thread

So onto plan B

What do people think it the best CPU to tie me over till next Jan.

3200G or 3600 or 3600X

Which one is likely to lose less money when i sell it 2nd hand?

TSB have blocked me from buying via OcUK every single time I've ordered online despite being told to allow OcUK at least 3 times in the past (even when I told them 5 minutes before ordering just to avoid this issue) so I have to do it via phone or pop in whenever I'm back in Stoke.

Its really frustrating especially when you get the automatic phone call an hour later asking you if you did the transaction.

Yeah had the same issue time and again with my business Barclay card. At one point due to the bank refusals internally, had processed the order on 5 Vega 64 LC!!!! (one at the time).
When cancelled them all to redo through the phone, stock wasn't going to be available for at least 6 weeks.

Hence bought the GTX1080Ti Xtreme from elsewhere with my business card.
 
Usually end up phoning my orders in due to this. Every time i try to enter my password in that "Verified by Visa" thing it refuses it. And now if an email i got from one of the other Computer parts etailers is true they are changing it so they send you a pin number for online purchases. That could be fun as i don't own/want or need a mobile phone....
 
My point was that with the uk having no stock the us seem to have a few more knocking about.uk was hit really hard with the 3900 shortages too compared to other countries.yes they suffered shortages too but other EU countries got them quicker than us

At the moment the UK is an afterthought after Europe on most things. Phones are a big issue at the moment however I was really struggling to find many European shops selling the 3950x at all. Which makes me think theres a distributor that hasnt had stock yet along with other retailers with "coming soon" up and not actually putting anything on sale today.
