OcUK Ryzen 9 3950X review thread

Hi all,

Just wanted to extend a massive thanks to @Gibbo and his team at OCUK for a job well done - I got an email that my 3950x shipped today and I'm very grateful. It was the last piece I needed for my build so was gutted at the thought of having to wait two months while the rest of my new PC sits in boxes gathering dust!
 
Looks like there's good stock numbers for 3900X's too. Or has it been that way for a while.

That guy that said stock would be limited until Jan 2020 had me worried, as I'm getting 3900/3950X for Xmas

3900X we have 100's in stock.
3950X is extremely limited supply, were expecting another 10-20pc next week, but still have around 100 backorders to fulfill.

3900X has the games.
3950X from us does not as I’ve not set it as part of the promotion but will ask AMD next week if it’s included but new allocated products normally don’t have free stuff because AMD don’t need to do incentives to make customer buy when everybody wants it anyway.

From their promo banner that is in the AMD site and also in Overclockers they say
AMD Ryzen™ 9 3000 Series Get Both Games (2 Games)

AMD Ryzen™ 7 3800X etc...


I would chase it with them Gibbo because when i was ordering that was also something i was thinking i was going to get and made the cost of the purchase a bit less hurtful.

Also on AMD's 3950x page they have the "Equipped to win" banner.

Shall get them added next week to 3950X, anyone who purchased 3950X post in CS with your order number and they will email you the game codes. :)
 
Are we allowed to sell the games on? I noticed i have 2 games with the 3900X that i have ordered but i dont think i'll be playing any of them.. will look and see what Outer Worlds is first though.
 
Unexpectedly got mine today as said delivery date was 2nd Dec.
DPD man rings door bell waking me up.
Go down stairs and find bugger left card faster than he pressed the door bell so go outside and stand in front of his van.
Gives me overclockers box and I'm thinking holy crap I finally have it :-)

Open box and was very much disappointed.... No Sweets
I mean at this point do i eat the CPU or just make lunch/ breakfast.

You need to speak with those warehouse packing peeps Gibbo they stealing our sweets :-(
