OCUK Sandy Bridge, SB-E and Ivy Bridge 5GHZ Club

well I ended up ordering the ocuk version of the corsair h60 for £37(got a few fans so will try those before ording new ones if the ons I have don't do a satisfactory job.

will that handle 5ghz or still out of reach? been told that 5.3ghz isn't do-able with that so will leave that for the future with watercooling.

Should be ok if you have 2 fans in push/pull, make sure you set them to draw cold air in from outside the case :D

Nothing exciting, but here's mine:

Hi mate - I notice you have 4.8ghz in your sig - I trust that is stable - I have the same cpu and mobo as yourself, any chance you could message me your motherboard settings and let me know what cooling you're running?

Any chance you could email me through trust?

Thanks

Thanx

Thanx for the replies.

The chip will get to 5850 but gets very flaky (I know, life's a b****)

This run was on a MIVE-Z (under SS) straight from Ockers.uk.

I Know it is probably obvious to a lot of ppl but the ram (Kingston Hypers, 1600 C8 on the MIVE-Z) did make a difference to raising my bclk above my usual 101-102 limit.
