Wish i didnt have one of the poorer 2600k chips. But heho will be upgrading soon. Im on 5ghz and have been for ages. Had the cpu about a year now. Im on 1.48v and never had a problem. Ive never tried with HT off? would that help with my voltages, and would i lose much turning it off?

I did indeed, this is a very nice chip! Running at 4.8Ghz 24/7 though as I don't need the extra Mhz
It depends on the specific chip as well as the cooler, but the d 14 is very nice

No problem
Really depends how well the particular one you get overclocks. Most will go to 4.5Ghz+ easily, some will go up past 5Ghz!

Take a look at the review http://www.motormice.com/reviews/SZ68R5 you will find a page on watercooling. Its a new bios that has enabled these CPU speeds.
