OCUK Sandy Bridge, SB-E and Ivy Bridge 5GHZ Club

These speeds are amazing! Like the look of the 2500k's running at 4.5GHz with ~1.3V, tempt's me more and more to get one when I build my rig, well, to overclock it when I get one!

It does vary depending on the chip but also quite heavily on how much stress the CPU is under. Running a 1m PI at 4.8Ghz will only bring my 2500k to 1.248-1.288v.

I'm bored. Time to see how low I can push the volts while still getting away with a 1m run at 4.8.

Edit: 1.192-1.232

Woohoo, first ever attempt at overclocking an i5.

Very happy withthe result so far, all I did was increase vcore and multiplier..

Now for a wee bit more reading and see where I can go from here!

Some advice, is the vcore pretty high for 5Ghz?
