**OcUK Secret Santa 2011 - The unWrapUp!**

so you apply rules to me, but not the SS rules?

There are rules on the forum too, we have told you to stop being rude, and leave it at that. Yet you seem to still make more posts in here being rude and so forth.

What makes you think Shayper is more of a higher profile than yourself? - He is just another forum member just like you. He has my respect that he eventually sent the gift, yes it took longer, yes it wasn't as smooth as hoped, however at least he sent something whereas there is some person this year, and the other years which never received a single thing, and nothing has been done, or can be done about it.

Out of however many users entered this years SS I can say it has been a great one and looks like plenty of people here enjoyed it and will be doing it again. I know I sure will be entering myself.

The rules of SS were very clear from the start, things had to be posted by the 8th (I think), he didn't so there should be some redress, as "losing receipts" and "stories" isn't really a credible excuse in my book. It took me all of 10mins to go and post mine on the right day, as it did for many others.

Every year we seem to have people let off bans, because they come up with various issues/excuses/lost receipts.

forum rules are rules, so should secret santa rules!

:( I wouldn't back chat if I was you. Take it up with a lawyer.

We made an agreement that he would have been banned tomorrow if nothing was done about it. There is someone else who has not received their Secret Santa gift as we believe the forum user has had something bad to him. We need to know what has happened and just cannot ban people willy nilly.

We are here to help, as the other years it seems like people really took the monkey and were just joining to gain something from it and not give something into it.

Shame really, but that is how it is, and that is why we are trying to help to make sure everyone who enters is not left out.

I probably wouldn't mind taking part either, but I struggle with thinking of gifts for my own Mother, yet alone some random manga loving fruit loop from OcUK. Unless I drew Skillmister, I'd just give him £10's worth of tinned tuna.

And he'd love it.

The above post had me thinking so confession time.

Maccy, I know you think I got you the 12 Litres of Irn Bru was because you are Scottish and you are going to Scotland for the new year.

The truth is that I had no idea you are were going to Scotland, nor did the Maccy thing crossed my mind that you are Scottish or your family are from Scotland.

Because by that point I had already sent you 3 gifts and technically fulfilled my SS obligations in the value limit department already so I was thinking of a 4th present as a joke....kinda thing to get back on you for accidentally deleting the original thread when you merged it but wasn't actually going to send you a buttplug. So I set about doing this and I wanted:-

1 - something random
2 - something in a BIG box
3 - something heavy
4 - something of reasonable value, not like 5p, but not like £50
5 - something you can actually use and enjoy, even though it is a joke

I couldn't really send bricks because that is just absurd lol I first came a crossed bottled mineral water but that's boring and then I thought, fizzy drinks !!! I was going to send Diet Coke as in the SS question thats what you answered but Amazon didn't have any, and I was limited to what I can send with Amazon Prime as I have it so it was free P&P to me no matter how LARGE or HEAVY the item was :D

So...Irn Bru it was!

It weights 12kg
Big box
You could drink it
Not expensive
RANDOM :D

I was half hoping that you weren't in when they deliver it and you had to go pick it up at the depot. Not knowing what it is....was also hoping you arrive on foot. :p

That would've been funny! :D

Once all this drama is sorted out is there any chance of the thread getting sorted out a bit so that it's clearer who bought what for who, pictures more organised etc? At the moment the thread is a mess and I can't be bothered scrolling through page after page of guff to see all the gifts. It's a shame as I, and I'm sure most people, were looking forward to seeing what everyone got.

Dons, is it possible to make a new sticky/announcement, or something to ask for anyone who hasn't received a gift to send me (or a Don I guess) a message via trust?
