Your two best options would be:-
1. Change to OcUK Nebula 9" as it offers very similar performance, slightly bigger but is a TN screen, same price.
2. Change to the Scroll Evoke, same size, same IPS screen, but is dual core, Bluetooth, a faster 7" with more features. We could offer this for £105 Inc. vAT for people who want to upgrade to this.

Thanks for sorting this out. You have saved Christmas. The sumvision 10.1 is very nice. The scroll evoke has blown me away. Anyone looking to get one post Christmas that comes thoroughly recommended. my four year old son is going to wet his knickers. Once again seriously impressed with the service I have recieved. Galvanizing yourselves into highest recommendation.

I very much doubt it has, every etailer is at the mercy of the shipping company's and ocuk will ALWAYS do their best to put things right.
If anything, the way they have reacted to the situation, has shown them to be worthy of your custom. I shall be continuing to recommend OcUK, even more highly then before. This is where good customer service comes in - when things go wrong.

Agreed, I purchased the 10.1 Ultima tablet and when Brown sauce hit the fan I was offered an alternative for an alleviated price. I have however stuck to the Ultima as I would prefer an OcUK branded tablet over a brand I did not know.
This is something I have only experienced with a small handful of e-tailers.

anyone from OCuk here at the min??? quick questions please... if the "OcUK Ultima 7" IPS 8GB Tablet PC" comes into stock tomorrow can i come and pick one up please for the pre-order price? see i could order one but its for my mother for xmas and if it comes into stock, i'd rather be able to come down and collect so she gets for xmas, rather than it comes later.

Just finished testing the Sumvision Cyclone 10" I got for my dad after having to switch from the 7" OcUK to the 10" OcUK to this, nice sleek unit, screen bright and clear with decent viewing angles, thin and easy to hold with small bezels and performance smooth as it could be so far though must admit I've not browsed the web on it yet - will update on tues when he gets it with what browsing/youtube etc is like.
Only problem is I want one now and the price has gone back up lol

google it as is still £150 at several other places, though I'd hold off until we find out whether the touch screen stopping working issue is hardware or software based as I've read a couple of comments that suggest it might be a thermal issue which would not be good at all.

Yep...same problem here... Seems to be the same half each time, and it seems to be the half that gets the hottest so possibly where the CPU gets too hot? It works fine for 45mins to an hour then totally unresponsive. Very annoying when you're in the middle of a game and have to hard reset so often... Planning on returning mine after xmas for a replacement. It is a fantastic bit of kit for the money...no complaints in terms of quality or functionality if it wasn't for this fault.
I've just purchased myself the 10.1" Ultima, very happy with it so far.
