*** Oculus Quest 2 Owners Thread ***

I've got my quest 2 coming tomorrow. Just downloading everything.
The debug tool - any recommended settings to improve image quality for a 1070ti?
 
First Quest 2 damage...

I punched a light fitting that hard it broke the pendant and sent the bulb flying across the room.

MrsGubby won't be happy when she gets home :D

MY guess was way out!! I sent him a message last week asking about deliver to Ireland and had he any estimates on when I would be able to order one.

He said he probably wouldn't have any stock in before December :(

Ah oh well! Patience it is then!

On another note , I've just bought a Quest 2 as well (gonna still keep the Q1) - been playing multiplayer with the missus and the kids are having a blast.

What a cracking game for 10.99 (Walkabout Mini Golf that is).

Good afternoon guys, I've place placed an order yesterday night for an oculus quest 2 (was in stock). It's normal that they didn't dispatch yet today? Maybe Oc don't dispatch on Saturday/Sunday? Thank you :D
 
Will be interesting to see what happens with availability now we, and a lot of other places in Europe, are off in to lockdown. I could be tempted to sell mine if the prices hit the silly levels Q1 hit back in April/May :p

Be warned, not many games approach Alyx in quality, in both graphics, gameplay and scope. You might find it difficult to appreciate other VR titles after playing it! (There are some other great VR games out there, but there's a lot of tat too).

I've got hit with a wave of motion sickness. Oddly didn't get it earlier. Need to adapt.

If it's any help I got mine today instantly from the major height street catalogue store, stock seemed plentiful.
 
Loving it so far. I think these could really take off, seems the closest thing we've ever had to a new Wii for casual gamers. I got mine mainly to play PCVR games but have played it standalone too and have been impressed and everyone that's had a go has gone a bought one immediately including family that aren't really into gaming... except my girlfriend who just keeps telling me how much she wants one
