I had loads of problems trying to get my Oculus supplied Xbox controller to work with the PC dongle a few weeks back, controller just turned off after 20 secs or so. Tried repairing and that didn't help. In the end I paired the controller with my actual Xbox One and it said the controller needed a firmware update, which it did. Back to PC, re-paired and it's been fine again ever since.

Thanks, is it something that should be enabled or is it on by default, I am using a GTX 1080.
Cant see anything in the Oculus or Nvidia settings.
It's enabled by default.
When you dip below 90fps it will automatically enable.
One telltale sign is that when you drop below 90fps your game will render at 45fps (it halves the game framerate to do what it needs to do) but will still feel smooth.
Once your frame rate picks up again over 90fps it will automatically disable and you'll be locked at 90fps again.

I wasn't expecting them to come this soon but got them rigged up in a fairly small space aswell. Big enough to sample the oculus first contact demo. I know the four touch games that come with the controllers are locked out until tomorrow, though.

I presume they aren't preloaded, and you have to download them. What sort of size are they all?All the touch games are now showing in my library under not installed.
