Guys\Gals when you put it on is full or has it got a edge?
And how many test rigs are they bridging before the final?

It has around 100 degrees fov, you can see the edge, but it's not extremely noticeable unless you focus on it. Of course if you move your eyes and look to the sides it's more noticeable, but then you have more blurring due to the sweet spot in the lenses.
As far as I know they are planning a limited supply beta product next year, with the final release (speculating) most likely around the same time of the year as the DK2. There is only speculation on the consumer release date and features, but you can get a good idea from the crystal cove prototype.

Anything i need to know / good to do before it arrives?

Will SLI cause any issues?
Do i need specific drivers or to remove any drivers?
Best to use in direct to rift / extended mode?
 
Yeah, Alien was the only film that truly terrified me as a child and I've been fascinated with it ever since. Actually 'living' the film through the Rift gives me a strange nervous excitement. I really want to experience it but I'm also dreading it at the same time...mostly excited, mostly...
