The box squats are in there, to appease the OCuk bodybuilding forum. I could probably get by whilst the weights are small, but I have no idea if my knee will hold up when the weight starts to get heavy.

As for strong lifts, I would love to do a routine that WORKS, but it would have to be adapted with out deadlifts and squats. If thats doable I'm all ears.

Going to the gym and lifting some ****ing weight is a routine that works. Stop thinking one particular routine is magic and put some effort in for more than a week before wanting to change.

And this is why you get such a bad reception on this forum. Let the guy (icecold) who fixes people like you see how you squat and see what his opinion is. I honestly can't believe you're so willing to write off your knee joints on the word of a doctor or physio, and do nothing to try and remedy it.

WHAT?

Serious lolage. I don't even want to know what bizarre illogical leap of thought, retarded article, or Scott Herman video convinced you that this was a good idea.

Again.

I wonder what you're like in real life... We should go on a date.

OK no box squats! I just thought it would be safer that was all.

Now I do not want you guys to go mental again! I am not trolling. I would LOVE to train the more fundamental way, if it means better results.

I owe it to my self to try some squats again the next time I’m in the gym. BUT, I will not be going further than parallel. Depending on feel it might even be higher.

Anyway, that doesn’t matter. For those that KNOW what they are talking about, are you sure it is:

1. Safe for me to squat.
2. Considering I have an injure where by I have eroded cartridge beneath my knee cap, do you not think, that as the poundages increase, this will be come more and more of an issue?
3. Concidering I will most likely never go beyound parrel still worth doing?

I was just reading this, and if you scroll down too "Common problems of the knee" I have three of those, i.e: Chondromalacia patellae, Patellofemoral Pain Syndrome and Crepitus which IS accompanied by pain and/or swelling.

So don’t go banana's if you still think squats is a good idea I will try them on Friday when I’m due back in the gym.

As for the date Icecold, time, date and location?

I think you are a mischief maker. You ask questions that you already know the answers to in order to provoke responses. You might not consciously be trolling, but I detect you derive a buzz from winding people up - which is really just as bad.

Why don't you just go away and lift how you want to lift for a bit, see how your results are, and then post an update? Instead of all this going round in circles.

Lunatic.

OK, point taken. I don't like circular thinking either.

Agreed.

Opeth, you will not be getting a serious response out of me (and probably most others) until you:

a) Stop asking questions that you've been given the answers to.

b) Stop DOING things you have been told are stupid.

c) Stop presuming to have enough knowledge to self diagnose and self treat. You have resources here on this forum that you are choosing to ignore, either out of stupidity or... I don't even know.

Why?

Because all of those things together absolutely reek of, at best, someone who is beyond all help*. At worst, you come across as someone who is just try to wind everyone up.

*If you are in fact genuine, think long and hard about this point.
