Sounded like an extremely loud hoover outside early this morning. I'm guessing paint of some sort?

Off to get my lunch.

1x Gregs sandwich, 1x crisps and 1x bake.
If I wasn't having to hand over £4.63 I would be excited.

EDIT: :(. Although I knew it would happen! lol.

Your neighbour is hiding an alien. I've seen ET and that is definitely what the government rigged up when they realised the alien was in the house.

+1 you should get checked for radiation and biohazard contamination.

You'll have things bursting out of your chest if you're not careful.

It's a posing GT more than a sports car, imo (although I know I said sports car above), and I must completely disagree about the flappy gearbox, that is ridiculous!

If you share my sentiment that the new Z4 is a more competent GT than it is a sports car, how can you disagree that the flappy paddle gearbox detracts from it's appeal as a sports car?

Given the existence of the 6 series to fulfil the criteria of a GT car in the BMW range, and the previous Z4's abilities as a sports car, it would seem reasonable to conclude that the replacement for the E85 should also sit in the range as a premium sports car, with a similar target market to the Boxster and TT.

I had 5 days with a SDrive 35i M Sport with the DCT box, and found that while the box is a step up in driver involvement from a standard Auto, it was no match for the manual equivalent.

I maintain that a Z4 with the DCT box spoils a sports car already compromised by the extra weight of the roof. As a pretty but unrefined GT it was ok, but it was no sports car imo.

Despite the ghetto nav and being 70bhp down, and I was grateful to have my E85 back...

Sorry I don't see how those comments follow. I'm not saying it's more of a GT on account of its DCT box, I'm saying it because it's heavy and plush, and compromises have been made for comfort over speed.

If involvement from a manual gearbox is the chief determinent of what constitutes a sportscar, presumably you feel then that modern Ferraris and F1 cars aren't real sports cars? I just don't see how you can be any more involved than having complete control over almost instant gearchanges from a DCT box; you're just flapping your fingers instead of waggling your left arm.

Then when you want GT mode, wack it in auto on the way to the Eurotunnel or the coast.
