hehe I must admit in the god knows how many years I've been here anyone asking to be a mod has never been promoted, but what's rare is wonderful, hell I even had a go at it for a while :p
 
On a more serious note, it seems like that side of the forums is well covered, even at 4am spam doesn't seem to last long. It's the PR side of things you guys need and what I would bring to the table.

Can you screen shot what it looks like when someone is on ignore. I have never done it as it seems a bit silly to me, but what comes up, or are the posts not there, and does it not get very very confusing if someone quotes a post that you have ignored?
 
PR is fine, people think motors is run by fox and all he does is recommend mondeos and bmw's.

for those that have brains they can see that's clearly not the case and the advice here is impartial and has a huge spread/wealth of knowledge

I'm more than happy for 99% of GD to stay in their play pen and carry on hating on motors :)

Nope

And Fox has clearly been run out to the point where his posts have gone down massively in quantity because of the abuse he used to get from his idiotic haters who would literally follow him from thread to thread. At a great loss to this forum I should add.

problem with the ignore function is I'm always tempted to click the 'click to view' option, infact the temptation usually proves too much and I negate the purpose of the ignore function :p

To be honest even where I do still bother I often wonder why. Take last night for example. I must have spent half an hour creating that huge post about E39's for Saytan.

He didn't even bother to acknowledge it - he posted in the thread since I said it but only to address hurfdurf. I'm not after a medal or something but just some acknowledgement i didn't just waste 30 minutes of my life for nothing wouldnt go amiss.

Screw it. You did your bit, why should you even be bothered? If people don't acknowledge your post, then so be it. In the end, whoever has been given advice in motors and hasn't taken it, comes back crying with a new thread.
