Agreed. However this is the off topic thread afterall. So off topic would refer to anything unrelated to motors.

Out of interest what would you suggest to halt or reverse the decline?

That's an open question to anyone. Might as well get make use out of this thread and canvass opinions about what some people perceive to be the decline in forum standards and how we can improve it.

people need to stop rabbiting on about the great down turn in motors, it's fine apart from everyone claiming its not, same thing happened years ago when we lost stumpy, fruitbat et al. Same thing will happen in another couple of years

build a bridge and get over it

It aint what it used to be but then to be honest things change, people move on, etc. etc. If you don't like change, don't come here, is quite simple.

Also, lol at this thread being the downturn of the forum. The amount of tripe posted before this thread in their own threads was unbelievable, now, all the tripe is contained within this one thread. If you don't like that, don't read the thread. :rolleyes:

Didn't realise DM had been doing favours for people with jewelry and cars. Fair play to the guy.

I agree that he does contribute well to motors, gives me some interesting threads to read and his real life thoughts, instead of a journalist's, on cars I would never get a ride in, let alone own.
Drunken antics.. well that's his choice, and the same applies for Joshy. It doesn't do anyone any harm

Will Gill is exactly right. Stop talking about how motors has changed and start talking about cars again. The content is up to the posters, so stop whining and create some content! This thread and the constant (no doubt hilarious to some) hurdurf stuff are doing motors no favours.
