I'm light too, helps the power to weight ratio of my car.
With a stonking V8 up front I doubt it makes much of a difference in the grand scheme of things though!

Iv just gone for 3 2 piece double breasted suits, in the material i want they are 18000 baht about 370 quid each. The same thing over here would be 1800 quid each in Savile Row.
I will pick them up before i leave Bangkok on the way home, gives them a week to make them.
Just be forewarned that the Thai tailor will be no where near the craftsmanship of good Row tailors.
There are very few good tailors in the East, and the ones that are, are almost as expensive as the Row, but are more modern and happy to work with lighter weights.
The Row is obsessed with heavy fabric because it is easy to manage the fall and that is traditionally what they have worked with.
Still, it should be better than something off the peg.
Iv got Savile Row suits here that cost me 2 grand each and iv got Raja visiting tailor suits that cost me 700 quid each and seriously, all jokes aside there is no difference in quality.
The stitches per inch, the lining, the buttons nothing the quality is no different.
Same as overcoats iv got a 2500 quid overcoat here absolutely no different from the one that cost me 900 quid in Singapore.
Will be proved wrong.
But surely to make the suits from abroad viable, you'd need to buy a hell of a lot to actually see value of money once plane, hotel etc are added? That's unless your already going on holiday there and not just going for a shopping trip.
Of course, i dont give a monkeys about the suits this holiday has cos me a fortune because it was last minute, im talking 3k flights and 700 quid a night in the Hilton, suits are just my way of nicking a bit back.
I aint travelled for years im gonna make up for it now, iv got Bulgaria on my list to visit a mate and Australia when i come back from here, **** it, what did i work all them years for
Just asking what a lot of poeple ask.
Enjoy yourself!
Jealous, I like to think I'm not work shy and would be willing to work hard for your life style. Just a shame I don't seem to have any high paying skills =[

But you just keep plugging away son and you can do it, you just need that bit of good luck and some determination.
You know what i like about this forum, every ****er works hard.

Millenium Hilton, Bangkok. I put in all of next week as I didnt know your dates and it comes out at just over £100 a night.
So 7 times cheaper
Even the King Executive Suite is under £200 a night. There is no way you should be paying £700 a night to stay at a Hilton, they really are not worth that kinda money, so shop smart.
Nothing wrong with 36, im 38 in suits thats just a good chunky size

They are ripping you off if they've quoted that!
Even on the Hilton website the standard rate for that suite is just under 10k Baht, so 200 quid a night, even cheaper though not sure if that includes tax?
I'd be having words at the desk on checkin, or just book it online through the Hilton site yourself
Indeed, 36 is a far more acceptable size, I'd like to be 32/34 though
