I don't see top tier activity in the last few posts to be fair

Nice Ninja edit Fox. ;)

I mean in general, I've noticed this since I've been here for quite a while.

I agree that everyone has their days, but there should be no room for leniency, whether it be a normal poster or a poster who has 1 million posts. Rules are rules and should be followed.

Some people think it's cool to copy others as they feel they will be 'liked'/'cult followed' even more by members.

I find it funny as if they're like this on the internet, how bad are they actually in person?

why would meeting him make any odds, we have been chatting for months on the phone, email, text etc.. I consider him a mate

This imo is wrong. I'll clarify why it's wrong with the saying "Don't judge a book by it's cover".

Works well in this situation as you will never know a person until you meet them in person. It's like when you buy a car, you see the add and if it appeals to you, you go see it and then buy it. No-one ever buys a car without seeing it in person.

Another edition, if you ever have loaned money off someone they have you by your testicles, whether it be friends, phone friends, internet friends, family etc...

And what has happened is one of those reasons why. Hope it all gets resolved as it's more of a personal matter then a matter for the forum to resolve. :\

Are some of you posters like this in real life?

You moan/complain about the smallest things, grow up.

It's like watching The Apprentice again, everyone complaining in the board-room over petty stuff, yet those people are meant to be the best at what they do.

Oooo I'll ban you OoOO.

Should make it a new forum rule if people keep crying about drunken ramblings. If drunk, and post, straight ban no questions asked. But as usual, double standards live to be in the "elite top tier" posters favour.

lol, jump on some MMO forums - if you think this is bad...

it wasn't a loan, it was a gift, I'm not going to cut and paste emails and text to confirm this because thats a private conversation/arrangement but I really don't see any valid point in your discussion.

I have plenty of friends which I have never met through WOW, CS, UO etc.. plenty of them I've sent money to, given money to etc.. without a second thought.

If that reply is to me. My point on the matter is that, if anyone has ever given you anything whether it be through a gift or loan format, the problem is, 9/10 times they will bring it up and use it against you. It's a dog eat dog world, and every little bit counts as I've seen in my lifetime.

it was a gift, it was sent as a gift and all the communications regarding it refer to it as a gift

I'll happily discuss it with mark but I'd imagine he is to busy enjoying thailand to care about a discussion for £500!

I understand that. However it doesn't stop someone for ever asking it back, that's my point, and people sometimes fail to realise that. It's sad but it's how people are sometimes. I hope you do get the matter sorted though.

And WoW, I left that a long time a go. A great game but just too time confusing.
