Enjoy the bone rattling ride quality and inability to go over speed humps without cringing due to the fact that your exhaust will probably now scrape on anything other than completely flat ground .

Pics?

It's not that low. But yeah the ride is firmer somewhat, and the cringing has begun. The handling has improved a lot, there isn't much body roll left. Plus I like the way it sits now.

That actually looks alright.

Are you going to be doing anymore to it, or are you waiting to get something else now?

Well could get a rear arb, and wheels. The arb would eliminate the under steer and is one of the best mods.

However, I don't think I'll spend any more on it, unless I can get some cheap alloys from somewhere. Really want the Rota Zero-Plus's but they're nearly £650 new.

Think I'll be saving up for something next year, haven't decided what yet.

The springs only dropped it from 20mm all round to 35mm front and 38mm back. Could have done 40mm all round but that's too low for my liking. Being closer to the road does make it seem somewhat quicker. But I'm really happy with how it handles now, body roll was annoying me.

Thats properly cheap

Been pricing up alloys lately and I'd be overjoyed if a set was as cheap as that

Kenai I hate you. If someone did a proper PS mock-up I think they would look good on it.

Fox, I think they're expensive. However the price I got was from the Rota site was with some decent tyres. They will be much cheaper then German alternatives.

EDIT: When you're on a bit of a Budget £650 is still expensive. :p

They're the 5 spoke split one's right? I don't know whether they would look good on your 5. :(

I'm not changing the wheels on my 5 - the wheels I have now are one of my favourite wheel styles ever and taught me the value of having wheels you like - I absolutely love seeing them on there.

Sadly all the standard fit wheel styles on the 5's replacement are horrible and I strongly dislike them. The new optional 19" wheel on the LCI E92 is the 19" Style 313, previously available as part of the BMW Performance accessories range.

However, in the USA, an 18" variant of this wheel is standard fit on the 335iS. It is this wheel that I intend to replace the horrible stock wheels with ASAP.

Yeah those are the wheels I meant after a Google search. They look really nice on the E92. Getting an E92 I presume then? Really nice cars love the looks on the cabs.

Yea, but as I'm going to keep it for 5 years I'm being ridiculously fussy with the exact specification and taking advantage of the fact it doesnt matter how long it takes to find the right one, as long as it really is the right one.

5 Years, Seriously? Quite a long time just don't get bored of the car :p. The problem is, sometimes you find the 'right' one but then something better comes along. I wouldn't blame you for being fussy, might as well wait for something you would enjoy on a daily basis rather then 'make do' with one that just filled the urge of owning one.
