Why would you go all the way to Berlin and then go to Starbucks? :(

I'm almost ready for my ban expiring back a week today. Car comes back from the body shop on tues/weds, coilovers arriving on tuesday, wheels and tyres sorted as above. Insurance is looking to be ~£830 (renewal was £570 last year with no mods). I've taken Friday off to take it for MOT & coilover fitment, hopefully it passes! Excitement!!!

They look awesome Dup. Bet you can't wait to go out on a drive:eek:

What was it, 12 month ban?

Thanks, it's not been as bad as I imagined but I'm happy to be on the last stretch now. Now I will face the will power of still using my push iron like I have done in all weather for the last 9 months!

Ban 9 months with a drink drivers awareness course. Cost me £675 in fines, course and reapplying for my licence. My one and only regret in life regardless of the silly circumstance. Don't mix alcohol and anti-depressants!

Rota Zero Plus's Dup? I love those wheels.

They are indeed. 15x8 ET10. I'd sooner the real thing (Work Equip) but I'm not much of a wheel whore. Fake splits will do for now.

You must be proper bonkers if you spend £16k on that! It's a previous gen A4, that platform first came out 11 years ago!

If you want one buy one for £6k, £16k for one is bonkers, its an E46 3 Series generation car! If it was an S4 then perhaps I can see why you'd spend so much but it's not, it's got that tedious horrible 2.0 thing in it.

If you've got £16,000 to spend on a car why are you looking at stuff with engines as nasty as that anyway, what about a nice 2.0TFSI?

I was just about to write the same thing. Not to say theyre bad cars but to spend 16k on one is madness.

Surely you can get a current shape one for £16k these days. If you can't then £18k certainly gets you one and I'd spend the extra for the current shape on every day of the week - you'd probably save the money back in residuals anyway. Same money also gets a current shape Merc C Class. Both are considerably better cars than that shape of A4.

but whilst we are talking about potential new cars, I've moved to within half a mile of my work so my motorway muncher isnt needed anymore, I'm nicely addicted to BMW's now and think something like this :

will be a good car to move to, I appreciate he is wildly over the market rate but I'm going to send him a cheeky offer and see how i fair, fox, comments?

We'll all be on our 4th cars by the time he realises how deluded he is and drops the price to what its worth so I doubt you'll be getting anywhere with cheeky offers.

£18k for a 2003 M3, just rofl.
