Off topic thread

It is no secret that me and Robbie G argue on here, but I do not think for a second he should be banned, if not for the simple fact that I think that should be a very last resort saved only for the worst of posters and people trying to damage to either the forum or the business, but also because his posts are some times so bad, so scrub tier, so bottom of the barrel, that they make even the other low tier posters look good in comparison! (Also the dude helps some times)

You know this approach will only serve to get tongues wagging left right and centre - it's human nature.

I do not think they do understand the intricacies of how the forum, or maybe just motors, works on that kind of level. It is why I am going to be starting a campaign (already backed by both the majority of posters, every elite member poster and top tier poster) to become a moderator myself. Just look at the MX5 Mondeo thread, I didn't even want something like to happen!

This Offtopic thread is a saving grace and indicative of both my understanding of motors and ability to get things done, when the time comes, I will appreciate everyone's support.

Bam and April on Ryan Dunn's driving

Link removed due to language, your campaign for mod just took another turn for the worse.

If you have a friend who drives like a plank and nothing will get it through their thick skull, avoid ever being in their car. I know idiots who have gone into the back of people based on driving too fast because, as they in the video put it "grandstanding", but now as I think we as a collective get older, crashes are going to get worse as higher performing cars become more affordable and their skill level does not go up.

Come on hurf we all know your "campaign" is just a joke. Cos it will never happen!

Last time you claimed this things took an incredibly embarrassing turn for you and that was without me even trying or having anything to do with it. I may not have been born into to modship like yourself but when a populace gets fed up with nepotism one of two things occur, my preferred option, Democracy, and what I want to avoid, popular violent revolution. The way things have been going round here lately change is brewing, I would much rather be a helpful force than any othe kind. Also this is a forum and not a nation state so I have no real idea that any of this will happen but I'm p positive there is an overlap in there somewhere.

Also my video had a swear word in, for that I want to apologise to all the Children who have now been heavily corrupted in the name of promoting the dangers of drink driving, surely a too higher price to pay even for such a cause in a section of this forum aimed at a hobby one cannot really begin legally enjoy until they are 17.

In precampaign news mild non offensive swearing will be allowed in certain sections of the forum once I have been elected, that I promise

You do realise I wasn't a mod when I joined the forum or even when I began to work at OcUK?

So your "born into modship" theory is kinda weak.

Who's embarrassed now?

Lol still not me. Are you really that delusional that you think being the owners son has nothing to do with your employment?!

Another campaign promise, more directed at GD than here, but britboy would be instantly banned upon my election. For a poster to be that bad it is noticeable in GD, the worst of our forums, a poster must trying hard to be a post at such a sub standard level.

Also bump to the Offtopic thread, may it reign supreme.

hurfdurf, tell me to mind my beeswax if you will, but I'm curious about you and your background. You spend an awful lot of time posting guff about being a mod (lol), yet also post what comes across as reasonably intelligent guff...what do you actually do out of interest?

Student, doing a degree that will leave me in no standing what so ever (politics) but I love the subject and debating things at a much higher level than you get in the pub/on forums.

That takes up, at most, 6 hours a week of my life.

Hurf i dont want to be a party pooper but id like a fiver a week out of that for brokering the deal :)

Make it £600 a week for the rest of my life and you got your £50 a week brokers fee (and we can add pimp to the list of odd jobs you have had if its not already on there)

Just watching traffic cops on Sky watch and I must say, Steve Youngson is one anal copper. Sitting waiting for people to perform illegal overtakes, being one of those cops that makes the driver remove the tints from the front.. pffft.

Tints I can understand tbh, I wouldn't want to be pulling someone over and not being able to look into the car.
