But a Peugeot 306 does inspire you? :)

It's been a "first car" want for a long time of mine I still would like to owe one.
I know about them due to visiting and using the owner forums over the years.
Meh, don't think this weekend is a good one for my depression (hence my negativity about everything) and Adele isn't helping!

Nothing wrong with a 306 but what im saying is this..

Every ****er and his dog wants one of them along with a Golf and a Fiesta etc so your small little car ends up costing an unreasonable (in my opinion) amount of money.

However if you jump up a size or 2 to a Mondeo or dare i say it a Vectra type car, you get a lot more for your money, for probably not a lot more insurance.

What whereas a 114bhp Golf does? :D

Before I was told how crap they were, was just going off how I was impressed with their build qualities of vans and was hoping it would have transgressed onto a 10y/o car.

Yeah been noticing that, price have started to be less defined between a small and a large car. And been having a chat about this in work with a guy also looking for a new car.

Well to say a mondeo doesn't inspire me may be wrong, just currently they are all the old man's mobile instead of something sporty looking, even a black one would help instead of beige and gold!

Looked at online a VectraC SRi, but turned out car was in New Castle not Edinburgh.
Parent's also have a vectraB and I havn't been that impressed by reliability and build quality so hesitant on going one that old.

Nah, too far to travel and would be bringing my dad and if it's not at the end of the street he doesn't seem to be that interested in viewing it straight away, and last time I had something lined up ready to view it was a week later before he agreed (also needed transport to the car) and it was sold.

I hate cars.

First proper drive in ages and the bloody thing decides that it wants to over heat.

Will have a proper look next week when I stopped sulking but I can see this being game over.

Not sure if I should drink or not. I wasn't going to since making a tit of myself last night but I won't lie that this car thing has got me a bit depressed.

Bit of Cider, some curry and browsing P.H for a replacement. Sounds like it could be fun :).

'Quick, buy a replacement'

I've been half heartedly trying to sell it for a while, this is just the sort of thing I needed to get me into gear and actually do it.

Onwards and upwards :).
