That was mental last night, I cannot believe I found a LMG, :D

Will have to play the entire game in co-op soon.
 
can someone please clarify for me:

when making combo items do you need the card first or is it trial and error and if it works you get the card??

mainly asking as i purchased 2 zombrex and the boxing glove knife combo and got the card when i purchased it but didnt try to attach them before hand.
 
I'm on my 4th playthrough (all of them have been co-op with a mate :D) and I've still never encountered *********!

Does it come up as a message or have you just gotta check out Yucatan at the right time?

I think you go between day one and three, you don't get a scoop message for it either mate.
 
OMFG! Just completed this last night, and overtime mode. God some bits are so frustrating.

Now to work out which objectives to go for on my next play through.
 
Had a massive stroke of luck last night in killing Leon (idiot on the bike outside), I rescued the couple behind the burning door, on the way back to the safe house I noticed Leon wasn't moving. On closer inspection he was stuck in one of the flower beds surrounded by zombies, I jumped up on top of the flower bed and managed to whack him continually on the head with a crowbar until the cutscene comes up where he sets himself on fire :D
 
I used the trusty spiked bat for him.

I was quite gutted last night, I thought I'd save 50 survivors as in the stats page it said 51 safe, but it turns out I only saved 40 people.
 
I was tempted to go to the shop and get the battleaxe, however I wasn't sure how long he'd be stuck there so I kept bashing him over the head :p

Enjoying this much more than the first, the combo weapons are a stroke of genius.
 
They are indeed. Also the boxing gloves + bowie knife are a very good weapon to take him down. And you can make them in the room right near where you fight him.

Yes, this game is great fun (once I'd calmed down from my frustrations with the latter developments in the game). ;)
 
Bought this yesterday on the PS3. Really enjoying it so far. No framerate issues or anything.

I'm on case 1-4

Where can I get more zombrex from?
