Will Mercedes pulling out of Mclaren affect Mclarens budget? Maybe Mclarens F1 team will have to cut costs to make up for the shortfall in revenue.

I doubt it will be a noticable difference - especially now teams are said to be trying to reduce budgets to "reasonable" levels

Even when they lost all their points due to Spygate - therefore getting no income direct from F1 wins etc wont effect them yet (as I seem to recall this money is backdated some way)

Exactly, just the same as Kova if there are any new parts going they will appear one one car well before the other. This is team Lewis, Button may not know it but he will be going there as a definate no2.

Danny, he knows it. Everybody does.

If Button wants the scoop on McLaren, all he needs to do is phone up Alonso and get the dirt. Alonso will be more than willing to dish the dirt to Button about what actually goes on at McLaren.

Lol...

some 12 year old office lacky has been given a pick of a Brawn and photoshopped it silver with some carbon bits, and suddenly its an offical mockup?

Seriously, wtf?

bloody hell, i must be missing some right news, been to busy to even catch up on all this lately.... i dunno if i can say if that is good news or not :/

any other massive news for me?

Brawn Gp is no longer brawn Gp. It's now Mercedes but Mercedes have agreed to supply mclaren with engines till at least 2015

Bad news IMO but better than having no drive or a drive for a back marker team. But at least he will be in a point scoring car.

not signed yet, but a nice line up if true for mclaren next year.

Blimey.

Oh well, McLaren have a decent line up to go up against Massa and Alonso.

Hamilton will be expected to deal with Alonso, while Button must beat Massa (assuming that Ferrari and McLaren produce cars that are of similar performance).

I think Button will get on very well with everybody at McLaren and providing he isnt beating Hamilton at any point, Hamilton won't have any problems with him. Should Button begin to rival Hamilton on the track, I can definitely see Hamilton throwing his toys out of his pram.

What's really interesting is that Button is rated to be worth £6M, while Hamilton is allegedly on £15M. This shows that even though he is the reigning World Champion, his stock isnt that high (which is in-line with my expectations ;)).
