Hopefully after Aus '09 he's learned when to lie and when to shut the **** up and not say a word. That particular time is usually after you've said one thing over the radio and to the press, and then get faced with the opportunity to say something different to the race stewards.

Shouldnt the FIA now be carrying out an investigation on Lotus, with a view to possibly banning them (if the allegations are proved correct)?
 
The link I posted has at the bottom that the arguement is speculated to be between Force India not paying up and AeroLab. Wonder if they 'accidentally' pointed to the model.

That is exactly what is happening only it's taken longer. Bernie was great for the sport he's now an old dinosaur that's as much trouble for the sport as he was a saviour years ago.

Not all bernies fault, the teams are pretty uninterested in making the sport fun for the fans as well or financially viable.

Bernies time has passed.
 
From what I gather...

Aerolab is owed $1million for work they did for Force India in 2007-2008
Aerolab starts legal proceedings to get the $1million in 2009
Force India ran away so rapidly that they left some scale parts there.
Aerolab used the scale wheels and tyres that Force India licensed from Bridgestone on the scale model of the Lotus T127
Force India start legal proceedings in order to get the $1million owed dismissed.

Aerolab have indemnified Lotus - that pretty much means that Aerolab is pretty certain that FI don't have a case, and if they do it's against Aerolab only and not Lotus.

Force India appear leave bad debts all over the place. Debt collectors were involved last year and the company was nearly wound up at one point due to no accounts being submitted.

Oh, and Lotus appears to have taken a large chunk of Force India's senior technical staff recently. Mark Smith is going to become Technical Director from his role as FI's Technical Director, also moving is Marianne Hinson - FI head of aero and Lewis Smith - FI chief designer.
 
I'm sure that some ideas which McLaren were thinking about for their 2011 car, will be incorporated into Ferrari's 2011 car. Nothing wrong with that though.
