I understand he gets hate because his dad owns the team, but he's actually a decent driver

He is decent compared to the pool he is compared to. That is my point. It was always hard to get into Motorsport but in the last 15 odd years it is only the select few that have the money get a seat.

Alonso is 41 years old and is still one of the best on the grid in my eyes. He had always schooled his team mates most of the time and beat Schumacher. You even look at Plato who was in the BTCC. 50 odd years old schooling rich kids half his age.

Because many, yourself included, are incapable of dealing with how good a team Red Bull have become and will whine like children every race weekend . F1 is a unique sport, exceptional athletes paired with exceptional unique machinery, that pits the worlds greatest designers and engineers against each other. Ultimate team sport.

Alonso is still a proper talent - happy for him.

RB have absolutely nailed every bit of their car. People will complain but it’s no different to when Merc were dominating.
