Slightly better race overall - Still that's only if you remove Max from the results/race.

It's a bit sad that to get any excitement, you need safety cars and need to "forget" about 1st place.

I thought McLaren had blown it by putting Lando on the hard tyres, but what a drive by Lando in the closing laps.
Looking forward to Hungary as the McLaren (probably just Lando's car) will receive the last part of the new upgrade package. Oscar's car will get the upgrades from Silverstone, I think.

Looks like Mika Häkkinen was right when he said in a recent interview that McLaren could unleash some serious performance and potentially challenge Redbull with these upgrades. As a McLaren supporter, I wasn't taking the comment seriously but that is an impressive team result.....still think Redbull are far too strong though.

Hopefully they can keep the momentum up over the second part of the season after the sacrifice of the first few races after missing the winter development targets.

Started the champagne before one of the top 3 trophies in F1 is presented - The stunning RAC Cup.

(Other 2 are the Australian steering wheel replica and the Hungarian porcelain trophy)

I guess outside of Max, Lando must be the most sought after F1 driver, currently.
Well it was looking that way before the new regs came in. Nobody should be surprised now they’ve (apparently) got a decent car for him to compete with.

McLaren have an amazing driver pair.
When mclaren pinched piastri from alpine (rightly) and alpine were left with Ocon and then signed gasley.. I was.. Disappointed! :D

Mclaren's are harder on the tyres than the Mercedes thus all Norris had to do was hold Lewis off for a few laps until the softs fell away. Risky strategy though.
Are we now seeing Mclaren are the second quickest team?
