Mclaren's are harder on the tyres than the Mercedes thus all Norris had to do was hold Lewis off for a few laps until the softs fell away. Risky strategy though.
Are we now seeing Mclaren has the second quickest car?

Well it certainly was in race pace today.

Need a few different circuits/locations to see if it really is yet I think.

Certainly a crazy jump from the opening races of this season.

I don't think there is a second fastest team at the moment. I think there are tracks that suit different cars.

Agreed. I also think Merc should remember Lewis was only up there because of the SC. Without it, where would he have been 5/6th at best? Their car couldn’t even get past the McLaren on soft tyres and with DRS. That’s shockingly bad.

Is the Dutch national anthem made up of different seasonal tunes?

I‘m sure I hear bits of “On the nth day of Christmas” at the start and “We wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year” at the end.

Confused by the rating some given this race. It was mostly a snooze fest. Even the battle lower down that we thought might happen was pretty much negated by the tyres being able to last for ever. The SC brought some action, but was out too long. Definately not a 7/10 like most people have voted for it. I feel people just vote high when a driver they like does well, rather than taking a more objective look at the race.

Lol, wow ok Russell. Totally throwing shade at Hamilton's podium with such emphasis on "deserved". Clearly mega bitter.

Yes, Lewis was lucky, but come on man, support your teammate. No need to say a competitor in a rival team deserved it..
Pot kettle springs to mind ie Diddnt Russell beat Hamilton Last season due to Hamilton getting bad luck from safety car pitting

I agree. I don't think there is sa second fastest team currently, it's track specific some tracks will suit certain cars better.

Really happy for McLaren and a great job by their drivers. I wonder if Lewis will be driving for them in the 2024 season if this performance boost has some longevity? It’s where he started - maybe that’s where he wants to finish.

Generally an OK race. Not sure how Stroll avoided penalties. George seems proper bitter at Lewis’s podium.

Genuinely hope McLaren can keep this up and push Max a bit. Not saying he is having it easy but the performance advantage is definitely providing a comfortable safety net and it would be nice to get another team genuinely in contention.

Also, WTF is going on with Perez…..? Has he checked out in his head do you think?

Hamilton to McLaren isn't the worst suggestion. If their performance keeps up, sure Merc would love to take Norris.

Personally I'm finding Russell more and more unlikeable, not that I was ever his biggest fan.nut he seems to have got worse.
