Looks like he was a hair away from going from hero to zero looking at that tyre though. But that usually is the margin to stay at the top.

Like every other run. Also, Alonso's last sector was slow. Joint slowest with GR in the top 10.

Amazing precision and speed from MV through the last 2-3 corners.
Alonso was always a couple of tenths down in the last sector through all of qualifying.
