I see Verstappen's penalty made a world of difference :rolleyes:
Honestly he should've received a stop-and-go for punting someone off the track and completely ruining their race like that.

I wonder if Zak would've been so nice to MBS had Ferrari won the constructors as a result...
 
Not a bad race to wrap up the season!

Great effort from Ferrari, Leclerc especially, who had an amazing race coming from so far back in the field. Sainz not to be discounted either, he had a good clean race and stayed quite close to Norris, but didn't quite have the pace to catch him.

A decent final race for Hamilton with Mercedes too, considering where he started on the grid and how the car has been through most of this year, I think P4 was a mega result and I think he'll be pretty happy with that, being able to finish on a high. I hope he has a good few years coming up with Ferrari, as I feel his mental health has taken a beating this past couple of years.
 
Stroll got a 5s time penalty added to the end of the race for a reason i've not seen before

Fact:
Leaving the track without a justifiable reason multiple times.

Infringement:
Breach of Article 33.3 of the FIA Formula One Sporting Regulations.Decision 5 second time penalty.(5 seconds added to elapsed Race time).

Reason:
The Stewards reviewed video evidence and found that Car 18 left the track on four(4) occasions without justifiable reason, after having received the black and white flagon the third (3rd) occasion.This was a breach of Article 33.3 of the FIA Formula One Sporting Regulations. As per the penalty guidelines, this attracts a 5 second time penalty, which we accordinglyimpose.

Standard penalty for getting 3 track limit violations and getting the black and white flag, and then going off the track again.
 
That must have been mega squeaky bum time from McLaren after Piastri getting punted off and getting a penalty, and having the Ferraris 2nd and 3rd. Was expecting Norris' engine to explode or something for maximum drama.

Great drive for Lewis.

Loved Piastris radio after getting punted off by Max :D
