That camera lean on the McLaren onboard is just awful. Feel like they are just pushing it to clown levels, to see what they can get away with. It looks truly ridiculous.

I think it's great, really shows how the track camber varies.

I quite like the gimbal camera, highlights the changing camber of the track in a way the static cams don't, gives an interesting perspective of the banked sections here

Not really. They are pushing it to extreme levels to make it look like something it isn't. On the main straight it was on a comical tilt.

Edit: More like they're riding motorbikes.

Yea, if you've seen people try and walk that part, it's massively steep. Pretty sure the camera is reacting to the corners vs being manually controlled.

I think the FOV also helps convey more speed; wouldn't want to watch the whole race like that but it's a cool option. Will be interesting to see what it looks like on a more standard track.

Its a gyro camera isn't it ? it's exactly what replays at Zandvoort look like in iRacing when you use a gyro cam

i'm not a fan of the gimblecam, i keep thinking they're losing control. for me it adds nothing and is just a gimmick
