he just wasn't fast enough, a small snap of oversteer occasionally

oversteer on entry at t1 mostly, lost 3 tenths there.

There was less than half a second between the top ten, I guess with such small margins a simple mistake cost him Q3.
Exactly, it doesn't take much, 1 or 2 tenths can see you drop 5 places easily

i suspect the track more than the car tbh (could be wrong though)
Mclaren are looking really strong today, Lando has the advantage through the faster sections over Max
