And? Norris isn't doing anything special - why should they prioritise him?
To win the WDC? Who cares about the driver being special or not. Mclaren is one if the most successful teams ever in F1, drivers come and go, but they have the trophies.

I mean, he wouldn’t give it back today. If it is really what he’s done, then fair play I guess. Forcing the hand, getting it done in the pits because he wasn’t a match on track.
I think given the mistake he probably would. Without it, I would have agreed.

They lost the 2007 championship with the dumbest bit of strategy I've ever seen, keeping out their driver on clearly ruined tyres to cover off a driver they weren't even fighting.

Yea, they'll have the WCC trophy, for making a good car and having to decent drivers.
WDC is about the driver, so Norris should earn it. If he does the same next race, should they ask Oscar to move give back the place again? They should race and earn it on merit.
