Slightly off topic, have Nissan ever dabbled in F1?Never would have happened in the GT R
Nissan, via their Infiniti Engineering Academy had some involvement with Renault F1, but I don't think the Nissan brand has done much if anything in F1.Pretty sure they haven't. They've been much more keen on using their road-going cars for GT series, and building engines for Le Mans

Not that I am aware no. Lots of sports car racing and Le Mans activity, but not F1 that I am aware of.Slightly off topic, have Nissan ever dabbled in F1?
So I take it Kimi A is standing in for Lewis in FP1, not George?
Drivers get to choose don't they? So they pick one FP1 session each where they're replaced, it's entirely up the driver/team to decide when they do it.So I take it Kimi A is standing in for Lewis in FP1, not George?
Each driver must give up one FP1 per season to a junior driver.Drivers get to choose don't they? So they pick one FP1 session each where they're replaced, it's entirely up the driver/team to decide when they do it.
